A few Forest Department rest houses serve this landscape. Allotment is official, limited, and not a hotel booking engine. Ask Field Director, Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve at +91 744 250 2314. Do not assume a room is waiting because a website listed one.

Kota

Kota is the practical base — junction, hotels, food, and a road run to several gates. Book a city room and a cab for the morning gypsy (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM). Stay near a driver who knows Darrah versus Garadia; the reserve is long, and the wrong road costs the slot.
